If I step outside the door for two minutes, I am likely to be devoured by bugs. Too many bug bites and I get sick. It is horrible! This is an easy to make, all natural bug repellant that really works.
In a spray bottle mix:
1 drop lemongrass oil
1 drop peppermint oil
5 drops geranium oil
4 ounces water
Where do you buy these ingredients? Would they be available at a health food store? Or do they need to be purchased online?

Jim got them at a health food store, but I have also ordered essential oils from amazon and iherb.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out our local HFS. I never buy the sprays at the store as I don't like to use chemicals on myself or my family, but then I feel guilty when the kids get eaten up. Will definitely give this a try. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. Jim has used it for years and said it even keeps ticks off.
ReplyDeleteThat's great to hear about the ticks too. We just pulled a tick out of our 11 year olds arm on Saturday. Luckily it wasn't successful at breaking through the skin, but left behind more of a hicky. But it scared the crap out of me. Grrr..hate ticks.
